Kevin Zegers is a Hollywood actor who has appeared in more than 60 films and television shows, including roles in TransAmerica, Dawn of the Dead, and Gossip Girl. Zegers has such an accomplished resume because he started acting at the tender age of 6! He is also a talented athlete, and played on his high school basketball and football teams in Woodstock.
Perhaps best known for her role as Janet Gavin, wife of Denis Leary on the hit show Rescue Me, Andrea Roth spent her formative years growing up in Woodstock. She has also had roles in Hawaii Five-0, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Lost. Fun fact: her first theatre role was a production of The Miracle Worker in Woodstock at the age of 11!
Jake Muzzin, the 28 year old hockey star who is currently taking the NHL by storm, was born and raised in Woodstock, Ontario. He first started playing hockey in the Woodstock Minor Hockey Association before moving on to play AAA in Brantford. Currently playing for the Los Angeles Kings, who won the Stanley Cup in 2014, Muzzin is the first professional athlete from Woodstock to win a major sports trophy.
