Software Features
Remote Connectivity: With our secure PC software, users can connect and monitor their systems from anywhere. Lock/unlock doors remotely, respond to and clear alarms, add new cardholders, view surveillance video feeds, and more.
Maximum Door Control: GlobalTek offers a variety of options for door access management, including alerts if a door remains propped after entry, pre-scheduling for lock/unlock times, and alarm mapping that will pinpoint specific areas of breach on the security platform.
Detailed Data: GlobalTek’s software gathers data while monitoring your facilities, allowing for detailed records and reports. Access information such as door-specific “last entry” reports are available, how often a door was opened, and when it was used.
Photo Recall: When integrated with GlobalTek’s identification software and video surveillance, our “photo recall” platform displays user photos coupled with cardholder records when a door is accessed, ensuring that only appropriate personnel are using the cards.
Cardholder Management: Rather than assign specific access rights to each user, the software allows for the creation of “access groups” to which users can be assigned. This includes different access and authority levels at different times for each group. You can also manage unexpected business closures and/or holidays to ensure that the normal schedule doesn’t activate and override the special schedule.
Last Access Granted: This sophisticated software allows you to view the last door a cardholder accessed, along with date and time. Administrators can search for inactive cardholders and deactivate and/or delete dormant users at any time, with a stroke of a keyboard.
Video Integration: GlobalTek’s award-nominated surveillance makes for an even more powerful platform when you integrate both video and card access. Users can call up recorded video from an opened door, view video from a triggered alarm, check multiple angles for a single door, and much more.
Lockout/Lockdown: Immediately secure your entire facility or even pre-determined “zone groups” with the press of a button. This in effect isolates threats while keeping your personnel safe and secure. Card override capabilities (yet an additional feature) also adds extra layers of security too.
Fire Doors: When required, our proprietary software can also activate and alarm fire doors that are controlled by “PGM” to trigger your commercial fire panel. Once the premises have been approved to re-enter, the doors reset, and the system returns to normal operational use…automatically.
Software Features
No More Lost Keys: When an employee quits, and fails to return his or her keys, the business is burdened with cutting new ones and possibly even changing locks. The same applies when an employee loses those same keys. However, with an access control system, the business can simply remove the employee’s access card from the system and issue a new card when necessary.
